A 5K THAT SUPPORTS THE MISSION OF THE BILL ANDERSON FUND
THE GOAL OF THIS EVENT IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP EXPAND THE NUMBER OF HISTORICALLY UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITY PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELDS OF HAZARD AND DISASTER RESEARCH, POLICY, AND PRACTICE.
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ANNUAL NATURAL HAZARDS RESEARCH AND APPLICATIONS WORKSHOP
The Disaster Dash will be held in concurrence with the Annual Natural Hazards Research and Applications Workshop, which brings together mitigation and emergency management officials and planning professionals; representatives of nonprofit, private sector, and humanitarian organizations; hazards and disaster researchers; and others dedicated to alleviating the impacts of disasters.
